Pellionia Pulchra 'Watermelon Vine' ~ Rooted Cutting

This South East Asian, trailing plant is a fast grower even in deep shade. It gets its name from the oval shaped olive green leaves with deep red venation. It's prized for its attractive foliage and distinctive appearance, making it a popular choice for houseplant enthusiasts.

Appearance

• Leaves: Heart-shaped leaves with a velvet-like texture. The leaves are typically dark green with intricate, silvery or pale markings that form a distinctive pattern, often described as "marbled."
  
  
• Size: It can grow up to 60cm in length.
  
  
• Growth habit: Trailing or creeping growth habit, with long stems that can cascade down, making it ideal for hanging baskets or as a groundcover.
  

Care Requirements

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, so it's best to keep it in a location with filtered or indirect light.

• Watering: Prefers to be kept consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Water it regularly, allowing the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has good drainage.

• Humidity: Enjoys high humidity.
